Aim and content:
Effective Copy Writing is designed to help participants write copy which motivates, persuades and sells. It will provide attendees with the skills they need to design layouts for maximum impact and readability.

Led by a professional writer, Effective Copy Writing examines the needs, expectations and characteristics of an audience.Through a number of individual and group exercises, it provides guidance on themes, logos, slogans and headlines and examines wordage, use of illustrations and graphics. Finally, the course looks at various styles and formats for publicity materials.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate an awareness of their audiences, effective ways of designing and writing copy – and an understanding of the wide range of styles available to writers and designers.
